How To Use the Macro Lens
- The macro lens must be very close to the photographing objects to prevent blurry images.
- To get a sharp image of wood macroscopic features, rest the macro lens on the wood sample surface. Adjust the lens angle to be perpendicular to the wood surface to capture a larger in-focused area.
- Due to phone camera differences, for some devices, the wood macroscopic images may not appear sharp when the macro lens is rested on the wood sample surface. In that case, slowly lift the lens from the surface until the image appears sharp.
How To Use the Ring Light
- Press the side button of the ring light to switch it on.
- Press the button again after turning on to increase brightness level. The ring light turns off after the 4th press.
- If the ring light illumination appears dim after continuous usage, recharge the ring light using the provided micro-USB cable.
